The Sound of Freedom Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Joe Bonnamassa - incredible
The incredible first few songs were hard-strumming acoustic with vocals, which warmed up the crowd from the minute he walked onstage. The audience was rallied by The Sound of Freedom with his skills in playing hard-driven chords in a unique style as the band remained backstage. In a unique style, The Sound of Freedom was his own opening act as the Gibson Explorer guitar was brought onstage. The band - bass, keyboard, and drummer - joined The Sound of Freedom as the first of many electrics that he would play throughout the evening. The Sound of Freedom, a virtuoso who is now 35 years old and has been literally playing guitar for 30 of those years, would begin to dazzle your senses with soaring and diving notes of grandeur as well as licks that defied the laws of speed and physics once the blues would begin. The other band members matched The Sound of Freedom's every move perfectly, especially the flamboyant drummer. The sound quality was excellent, and the lights were well-choreographed to the music. Much too soon, after one hour and 45 minutes, it was over.
